Soothing Salve

The name says it all...this product is great for soothing and calming irritated skin. The many active compounds and nutrients found in the different ingredients of this salve provide nourishment and can reduce the appearance of inflamed skin.
 
JOJOBA OIL. Jojoba oil closely mimics the skin's natural sebum, giving it moisturizing and conditioning properties. Noncomedogenic and rich in vitamin E, jojoba helps to soothe, smoothe, and promote the appearance of youthful skin.
OLIVE OIL. Rich in fatty acids and contains vitamins E and K, squalane, and antioxidants. The squalane softens and calms irritated skin, while the fatty acids and vitamins promote increased nourishment. 
COCOA BUTTER. Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids, providing deep moisturization of the skin. It helps smooth and even skin, promoting youthful appearance. 
SHEA BUTTER. Shea butter is excellent for moisturizing and brightening, reducing dryness and dullness. The oleic acid in shea butter helps replenish the skin’s moisture content while stearic acid helps retain moisture. Rich in vitamins A and E,shea butter is great for both smoothing and promoting the appearance of youthful skin.
CALENDULA. A potent source of linoleic acid, flavonoids, and other antioxidants, calendula is a gentle and powerful ingredient in skincare. Calendula's hydrating properties support calming and conditioning the skin. 
COMFREY. Comfrey is nourishing and moisturizing and soothing while astringent properties promote toning of the skin. Due to the compound allantoin, this herb also helps reduce the appearance of blemishes.  
ARNICA. From a plant in the sunflower family, arnica contains many active compounds known to moisturize skin, reduce redness, and promote healthy appearance of skin.***
